Lumagic, the magic of Christmas at the Hofgarten in Innsbruck

The historic Hofgarten park gardens are located in the heart of Innsbruck, where the glittering Christmas magic of Lumagic comes to life. A mile long circular lights show and installations which allows you to stroll by 300 sparkling sculptures inspired by a different theme each year. It is an unmissable event that lasts for about two months, starting from the first half of November.

“Lumagica” transforms this Austrian garden into a true unforgettable fairytale world. New luminous attractions, video projections and shimmering interactive sets synchronized with music accompany the visitor along the entire journey, transporting him into a joyful and colorful dimension. It is a great outdoor attraction to rediscover the extraordinary history of the Imperial Garden and treat yourself to a special Christmas with the whole family.

The "Lumagica Hofgarten Innsbruck" event is the work of MK Illumination, world leader in festive lighting, and is meant to be a tribute to the city: "Our parks of light are real-life-experiences and represent a conscious counterpoint to the digital world. We want to make people experience the real world, and not just see images on the net” CEO Klaus Mark describes the light show.

The staging involves the entire city and also this winter, for the third consecutive year, it will once again be the absolute protagonist of the Tyrolean capital. Entrance to the park is included in the Innsbruck guest card which allows entry to the main attractions of Innsbruck.
